Applying from inside the UAE
Change of status is required for inside-UAE applications: AED 1,700 extra.

Start with your current visa details
Tell our team whether you are visiting or already resident, your intended freelance work and any upcoming visa dates. We’ll explain the documents and supporting permissions for your application.
Keep your passport copy, photo, address proof and relevant UAE visa or entry record ready for your private portal. Speak with the team before changing your current visa or employment arrangements.
Change of status is required
For applications made from inside the UAE, change of status is mandatory. It costs AED 1,700 in addition to the AED 14,999 package, bringing the inside-UAE total to AED 16,699.
Health insurance is separate. You can provide your own qualifying policy or request a quote. If you already have cover, our team will check whether it meets the requirements for your application.
Prepare your activity and experience
Search the 100-activity catalogue and choose up to two activities for your application. Our team will confirm your combination and any activity-specific academic qualifications.
An experience letter or CV demonstrating relevant professional experience is required after pre-approval. Prepare it for that stage and use your private portal to share any requested evidence.
Know when to pay
After initial document review, we send your AED 999 pre-approval payment request. If approved, this amount counts toward the AED 14,999 package. After pre-approval, AED 2,000 covers application submission, followed by the AED 12,000 licence and residence payment.
